About Me
I am a second-year student at Lehigh University from Eaton Rapids, Michigan majoring in Journalism and Sociology with a minor in Marketing.
On campus, I am a member of the women's wrestling team, ministry team for reformed university fellowship, student guide for Lehigh University Student Scholar Institute, intern for Mountaintop Office of Strategic Initiatives, wrestling representee for Team inclusion through dialogue and education, and senator for Ars Sapientiae, a literary and debate society.
Experience
Associate Sports Editor
Led editorial initiatives for sports coverage, overseeing content creation, editing and publication. Collaborated with other editors to deliver compelling Lehigh sports stories and features on student athletes, coaches and programs.
Brown & White Weekly Anchor
Collaborate with 6 videographers to produce a weekly episode, highlighting the most newsworthy stories of the week. Use videography to tell the stories of Lehigh's campus and community and engage with a social media audience. Look at some of my work here!
Lehigh University Student Scholars Institute Student Guide & Mentor
Mentor 20 first-year students from historically underrepresented backgrounds adjust to the college setting, by providing one-on-one academic coaching and referrals to tutoring, financial aid and wellness resources.
Lead impactful meetings fostering a sense of belonging and support within student groups with co-guide. Support students in crafting their personal development plans to achieve their academic, professional or social goals. Learn more about LUSSI here!
